One of the great debates among survivalists is regarding the value of gold. One the one hand, gold is one of the few things that will hold its value when the U.S. dollar collapses. On the other hand, you can't eat or drink gold. That is the position that the maker of the film posted below takes. He advocates focusing on the things that you will actually need: food, water, shelter and protection. But is he being overly dramatic? If so, what kind of future should we all be preparing for?
