One of the great debates among survivalists is regarding the value of gold. One the one hand, gold is one of the few things that will hold its value when the U.S. dollar collapses. On the other hand, you can't eat or drink gold. That is the position that the maker of the film posted below takes. He advocates focusing on the things that you will actually need: food, water, shelter and protection. But is he being overly dramatic? If so, what kind of future should we all be preparing for? One where there is some level of law and order and where gold and silver will be of value, or one where law and order have completely vanished and the land is ruled by roaming gangs? (Read more....)
