The most effective method to cold weather survival that is known to me and would help differently in this picture to begin with;is to eat cheese with any red wine white wine, generally from a large bottle bought in stores, and the cheese not from a rat trap. The reasons here are that the fat from the cheese is stored in your body and released with the alcohol and textures of wine randomly and in extreme cold and we're going to run and go further and when there might be the need to go in the cold and scare enemies animals and even people who help themselves to your property and you don't have or want a firearm so on and so forth, point being that you use time when it's not possible before people notice you wanting to be warm instead you go in the cold and tolerate it and survive like animals that do and without being trained, like special forces and Canadian mounted police so on and so forth.
